Star Trek, Star Wars, Stargate, Farscape, Babylon 5, WH40k... I’ll take whatever I can get as long as we can get nukes in space where they’ll be doing the most good.

Nuclear power can finally be validated as the superior power generation system freeing us from the tyranny of Hohmann transfers and launch windows a nd finally putting us on course for spacecraft using brachistochrone trajectories.

But in all likelihood, this’ll just be a bureaucratic clusterfuck of Co ngressional pork , conflicting agency agendas, design requirements and concurrency that’ll just be cancelled in a few years and hand space supremacy to taikonauts.
